Dr. Shi-Sheng Tsou has served in our hospital over twenty years since graduating. He has taken the position of the director of inpatient ward since the establishment of the division of general internal medicine in 2006 and built a better communication way between physicians and nurses. Dr. Huang-Joe Wang was graduated from the School of Medicine, China Medical University (1988-1995). After finishing his military service, Dr. Huang-Joe Wang received resident physician training in internal medicine and fellow training in cardiology in National University Hospital (1997-2002). After the training, he came back and has been serving in China Medical University Hospital (2002-now). Additionally, he pursued further study in Institute of Biotechnology, National Tsing Hua University and earned his doctoral degree (2005-2010). He clinically specializes in PCI for CAD, and the diagnoses and treatment of hypertension, hyperlipidemia, valvular heart disease and heart failure (HF). In addition to his rich experiences, Dr. Wang treats patients as family and devotes himself to the research and the teaching. In terms of the teaching, he took up the position of an associate professor in the School of Medicine, China Medical University (2012-now) and has been promoting a variety of clinical teaching methods. In the terms of research, he has been proactively conducting intensive researches in vascular biology and diabetic vasculopathy, and he was qualified and sponsored by the elite program to pursue further study in the laboratory of Emory university in the United States (Dr. Hanjoong Jo, Department of Biomedical Engineering and Division of Cardiology, Emory university). Dr. Huang-Joe Wang has won the poster competition held by Taiwan Society of Internal Medicine and Taiwan Society of Cardiology many times. He has published more than 30 papers on international academic journals. Dr. Huang-Joe Wang integrates basic and clinical researches to provide patients excellent treatment.
