About CMUH
AI interprets medical data for rapid and accurate diagnosis
Navigating the Future of Cutting-Edge Healthcare – AI initiates digital health
The application of AI in medical data interpretation is the easiest to implement with the best efficiency in field of medical AI. Traditional image recognition relies on the judgment and experience from physicians with their naked eyes. Once the medical data becomes huge or the complexity of the disease increases, the recognition time will be extended. In order to solve this problem, artificial intelligence combines a large amount of clinical data with a real-time analysis and research and development system to provide graphical and systematic reports for physicians as references, assisting them in integrating patient information in a short time period, accurately judging symptoms, and reducing the occurrence of early risks of diseases. In the long term, it can assist in the management and tracking of patient conditions, and accomplish preventive medicine in combination with daily physiological data.
Clinical projects of AI center have already launched to web: fundus image detection of diabetic retinopathy, AI-assisted acute myocardial infarction clinical decision support system and AIoT remote application, knee meniscus tear detection, breast ultrasound tumor analysis, chest X-ray image interpretation for the types of COVID-19
Collaborated with the industry-academia cooperation enterprise (EverFortune.AI Co., Ltd.) to develop AI projects: AI-assisted interpretation of bone age and height prediction system, detection of abnormal chromosome amounts, bone mineral density interpretation model, AI interpretation of intracranial hemorrhage
