Digital Imaging-Assisted Orthognathic Surgery System

Our Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department has adopted a Digital Imaging-Assisted Orthognathic Surgery System, integrating high-resolution 3D computed tomography (3D CT), facial surface scanning, intraoral digital scanning, and Virtual Surgical Planning (VSP). This system allows precise preoperative simulation of jaw anatomy and movement. During surgery, custom 3D-printed surgical guides developed by Ever Young Biodimension Inc. are used to enhance skeletal positioning accuracy and stability.

The system improves surgical safety and success rates, shortens operative and hospital stays, and significantly enhances patient satisfaction. It is now a standard component of our orthognathic surgery workflow, exemplifying the integration of clinical practice with advanced medical technology.
