It converts preoperative imaging data (MRI, CT) into real-time 3D anatomical reconstructions, allowing surgeons to immerse themselves in the patient’s anatomy and pathology through the operative microscope’s primary view, both preoperatively and intraoperatively. This immersive visualization significantly improves the efficiency of surgical planning and the accuracy of execution.
The system is particularly suitable for high-precision brain tumor surgeries in neurosurgery. By enhancing anatomical visualization and providing real-time navigational assistance, it helps reduce intraoperative errors and complications, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
