In the field of palliative home care, nursing professionals are tasked with high-intensity caregiving while managing extensive documentation requirements. This process is not only time-consuming but also prone to information gaps due to the complexity of patient data. To alleviate this clinical burden, this project implements generative AI technology to develop a specialized Palliative Home Care Documentation System.
By integrating Speech Recognition and Large Language Models (LLMs), the system automatically transforms real-time nurse-patient clinical conversations into structured records and concise summaries. Producing high-quality, readable documentation within minutes, the system significantly reduces administrative overhead. Consequently, nurses can shift their focus from clerical tasks to direct patient interaction and empathetic companionship, ultimately optimizing the quality of palliative care and the personalized service experience.
