Ms. Huang Tzu-Ya, Section chief of Emergency Service Laboratory, has many years of experience in laboratory testing and has repeatedly served as a key contact person for CAP and TAF accreditations. She has also received professional training in ISO laboratory management and is responsible for managing turnaround time monitoring for emergency laboratory testing, ensuring both quality and efficiency.

Dr. Ying-Tso Wang completed his Clinical Pathology training at China Medical University Hospital. He is board-certified by the Taiwan Society of Laboratory Medicine and the Taiwan Society of Blood Transfusion, and holds certifications as a Precision Medicine Consultant and Precision Medicine Specialist from the Taiwan Society of Precision Medicine. During his training, he received several awards for clinical practice, teaching, and academic work, including three consecutive Best Case Report and Outstanding Paper Awards at the Taiwan Clinical Pathology Academic Conference. He hopes to continue learning and provide thoughtful, patient-centered care through clinical practice and research.

Dr. Zi-Lun Lai is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Division of Innovation and Translational Research, Department of Laboratory Medicine, China Medical University Hospital, and concurrently serves as Head of the Section of Industry-academia Research and Development. Her expertise includes clinical microbiome research, infectious genomics, long-read sequencing, and pathogen metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS). She is also actively involved in the development of laboratory-developed tests (LDTs) and their clinical translation. Dr. Lai has participated in the development of the Intelligent Microbiome Evaluation (iMe) platform, which has received the National Innovation Award, the National Healthcare Quality Award (NHQA), and the Innovative Improvement Award.

Dr Chew specializes in minimally invasive neurointerventional treatments for acute ischemic stroke and cerebrovascular diseases, including intracranial and extracranial aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), carotid and vertebral stenting, as well as thyroid embolization and ablation procedures. He is experienced in the interpretation and analysis of medical imaging reports, explanation of contrast media usage, general diagnostic radiology, pediatric head and neck imaging, neuroradiology, and interventional radiology for head and neck disorders. Dr. Chew is also actively involved in the clinical integration and development of AI-based imaging analysis and 3D printing applications in medical imaging.
