The research center carries out TCM empirical study and immunoregulation study, with the support of the National Health Research Institutes research and development plan, the Ministry of Science and Technology research program, the Ministry of Education Aim for the Top University Project, and CMUH medical research and TCM departments.
In addition to TCM clinical trials, the research center set up a high throughput live cell TCM screening platform, combined with an immune cell differentiation and regulation screening platform and preclinical disease models, performing studies on the TCM efficacy, immunotherapy efficacy, and related mechanisms by phased drug screening and verification models.
Dr. Hung-rong Yen received an interview on “new-generation Chinese medicine” by the Common Health magazine in Issue No. 204 in 2015, with the interview title Hung-rong Yen who turns Chinese medicine from alternative to mainstream therapy. In November of the same year, he received an overseas phone interview on TCM study by the editor in chief of the British RCHM magazine.
