Doctor Chun-Hung Tseng was a Research Fellow at University of Sydney. He transferred to the hospital in 2001 and has been working here ever since. Currently he is a part-time instructor at our school who specializes in peripheral nerve, headaches, Fasciæ musculares discomfort syndrome and peripheral nerve system physical examination (neural transmission and electromyogram [close to 3000 cases a year]). Doctor Chun-Hung Tseng is familiar with neuroimmunology and Neural Epidemiology and has rich experiences in teaching.
Doctor Jui-Cheng Chen is a Doctor from University of London and conducted research with Oxford Neuroscience authority voice Professor Peter Brown. Doctor Chen specializes in Pharmaceutical Parkinson drugs and neural pacemaker deep brain stimulation treatment as well as Klippel-Feil syndrome and oculogyral spasm treatment with Botulinus bacillus and movement disorder & dementia related illnesses.
Doctor Gwei Ming Lu graduated from China Medical University and after completing military service; joined the hospital’s Division of Nephrology and has provided over 10 years of service. Doctor Lu treats diseases with patience and his clinic work focuses on neural nerve degeneration diseases such as parkinson’s disease, Tremor, Cerebellum Brain Atrophy etc. From 2007-2010, He acquired Doctor degree at University of Frankfurt and has expertise in clinical usage and research of transcranial magnetic stimulation. In addition, he has abundant experience in the reading of specific brain waves such as triggering electric potential and movement preparation electric potential.
After graduating from the University, Doctor Yu-Wan Yang acquired a master degree in immunology from National Taiwan University and joined our hospital in 1997. She was awarded multiple times for outstanding doctor and best teaching doctor award. Apart from clinical medicine and rich experiences in teaching, Doctor Yang cares about her patients and treats them with empathy. In addition, Doctor Yang also acquired diabetes care qualifications. In addition to general neurology, hypertension, diabetes and metabolic syndromes (parkinson’s disease, chorea, unintentional movement etc.) and dementia ( alzheimer's disease, multi-infarct dementia etc.)
Doctor Yi-Ting Hsu is a Specialist of Division of neurology which specializes in the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease and Epilepsy. Doctor Hsu uses Botulinus bacillus to treat partial spasms of the fate, eye spasms and has abundant experience in Klippel-Feil syndrome. She specializes in deep brain stimulation in treating Parkinson’s Disease. Deep brain stimulation procedure is done by implanting a electronic chip and stimulated through currents to improve Parkinsons condition, reduce uncontrolled body condition. Through time, the patient’s medical treatments will need to change and deep brain stimulation parameters will need to be adjusted accordingly.
Doctor Hui-Chun Huang has been working at the hospital since her graduation. She mainly focuses on clinical service and teaching and sees her patients as family. Her biggest satisfaction is seeing patients in full recovery. Doctor Huang specializes in movement disorder disease, epilepsy and general neurology.
Doctor Ming-Jun Tsai received complete Neurology training at Kaohsiung Medical University and after acquiring Internal Medicine Specialist qualifications, took the position of attending physician of Division of Neurology at Kaohsiung Medical University. During this time, he continuously composed clinical and basic medicine papers and was chosen to be documented in the 2006 Who’s Who in the World. Doctor Tsai specializes in strokes and adverse reactions to neurology drugs. He focuses on the development of stroke, neural drugs and neuroscience animal models. He acquired a doctor degree in basic sciences at National Cheng Kung University.
After graduating from the university, Doctor Ching-Hua Lu joined the hospital in 2001 and was the awarded of Outstanding physician. Doctor Lu went to England in 2007 for Neurology training and acquired a Master and Doctor in Neuroscience and devoted to clinical research of motorneuron diseases at Queen Mary University of London.
After completing resident training in the department of neurology, China Medical University, Doctor Hsu was assigned to Beigang Hospital as Attending physician tat engages in acute and chronic stroke treatment; providing one-stop service to surrounding communities and was awarded National Quality award in 2015. In addition to strokes, he also specializes in degenerative diseases such as Dementia, Parkinson’s disease.
