Vision from Microsoft:Taiwan's AI hospital of the future- CMUH
2023/2/13China Medical University Hospital (CMUH) has implemented AI technology across its 12 hospitals with its 'intelligent antimicrobial system.' The system has greatly reduced the time it takes to identify drug-resistant bacteria, going from 72 hours to just one hour with the standard lab test, resulting in a 50% decrease in antibiotic use and a 25% decrease in patient mortality rates.

Prof. Oscar Lee, Vice-Superintendent of the CMUH, Gave Keynote Speech in Leading Scientist Seminar at Kyoto University, Japan
2023/1/31On January 23, 2023,iCeMS Prof Jun Suzuki hosted a Leading Scientist Seminar with Prof Oscar Lee, vice superintendent, China Medical University Hospital (CMUH). CMUH and Kyoto University have a long-standing relationship which began in 1987. Suzuki introduced Lee saying it was through his efforts that iCeMS and CMUH were able to sign an MOU last year strengthening their commitment to collaboration. Lee noted that it had been over ten years since he last spoke in the iCeMS lecture hall.

Under the stringent test of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the positive energy of ‘Taiwan is helping! CMUH is helping!’ has been brought to life. One of the passengers, the hospital directed 20,000 US dollars to Latisha’s medical expenses.
