China Medical University Hospital (CMUH) and China Medical University Children’s Hospital have been recognized in Newsweek’s Best Specialized Hospitals Asia-Pacific 2026, underscoring the strength and international competitiveness of the China Medical University Healthcare System in specialized medical care.
CMUH was recognized in six adult specialties: Orthopedics, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, and Oncology. China Medical University Children’s Hospital was also recognized in Pediatrics, bringing the system’s total recognition to seven specialties.
Compared with last year, CMUH newly entered the rankings in Neurosurgery and Cardiac Surgery, while continuing to receive international recognition in Orthopedics, Neurology, Cardiology, and Oncology. The recognition reflects CMUH’s comprehensive capabilities in adult and pediatric specialty care, complex surgery, precision diagnosis and treatment, and multidisciplinary team-based medicine.
Newsweek’s Best Specialized Hospitals rankings identify leading hospitals across key medical specialties and serve as an international reference for patients and healthcare professionals seeking high-quality specialized care.
