To strengthen global collaboration in healthcare innovation, we were honored to welcome Dr. Mohamad Adnan Alkhouli, Vice Chair of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic and a world-renowned lead in structural heart disease interventions.

    Invited by Dr. Shih-Sheng Chang, Director of CMUH’s AI Center, Dr. Alkhouli delivered a compelling keynote titled“CV Innovation and Precision Medicine: Will AI and Other Emerging Technologies Bridge the Gap?” His talk ignited rich discussions among our clinical leaders, exploring both the transformative promise and real-world challenges of integrating AI into cardiovascular care.

    During his visit, Dr. Alkhouli toured our HiThings Tele-ICU, AI Center, and Proton Therapy Center, and met with President Mien-Chie Hung and Dr. Liang-Yo Yang at CMU’s Shui-Nan Campus. He also engaged with our industry partner Ever Fortune.AI, expressing great interest in our ecosystem’s efforts to combine AI with advanced medical treatments.
