Usage and dosage
The drug is used with a dosage prescribed by the physician. The dose is adjusted according to body weight in children under 2 years old.
After reconstitution, each 5 mL of suspension (one measuring spoon) contains:
- Children 6–12 years (20–40 kg): 1–2 measuring spoons of Curam® 312.5 mg/5 mL per dose, 3 times daily.
- Children 2–6 years (12–20 kg): 1/2–1 measuring spoon of Curam® 312.5 mg/5 mL per dose, 3 times daily.
- Children under 2 years: 30–40 mg/kg/day(calculated as anhydrous amoxicillin), administered in three divided doses.

Drug storage
- Dry powder preparations should be placed in an airtight container at room temperature (15-30 ℃) away from light. The prepared suspension should be stored in the refrigerator (2-8 ℃) and used up within 7 days.
- Be careful not to place it where it is easily accessible to children.
- Prepare the suspension according to the preparation method before use. Shake well before taking the suspension.
Inform your physician/pharmacist as soon as possible of any of the following unusual symptoms:
- Hives, itching, redness, swelling, blistering or skin peeling, likely accompanied by nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and gastrointestinal distress.
Precautions
- If your child forgets (misses) a medication, give them the missed medication as soon as possible.
- If the next medication time is approaching, skip the missed dose and then return to the medication schedule.
- Avoid taking two doses or additional doses at the same time.
- During consultation, please give a list of your medications (prescription drugs, health foods, OTC medications) to the doctor.
- Follow your doctor's instructions to give your child medication in required doses on a regular basis.
