Usage and dosage

  • Subcutaneous injection: 0.5-1 IU/ kg/day; insulin and dose are determined according to blood sugar value.
  • Get all the tools (needles, alcohol pads) ready before the injection. Wash and dry your hands.
  • If you’re using mixed insulin, gently turn the pen upside down about 10 times until it looks evenly cloudy. Take off the pen cap and dial the dose you need. Remove the needle cap, wipe the rubber top with an alcohol pad, and attach the needle.
  • Choose an unwounded area and rotate injection sites (about two finger‑widths apart).
  • Clean the skin, pinch it, and inject at a 90‑degree angle.
