Director Chou performed the minimally invasive surgery of “Midurethral Intra-vaginal Sling” and “Urethral injections of botulinum toxin” on her. Ms. Lin was discharged from the hospital the next day after the surgery, while her previous urine leakage by coughing, urgency and urge incontinence all improved.

2021/3/2Our reconstructive microsurgery team in the Surgical and Plastic Surgery Departments led by Professor Hung-Chi Chen developed breakthrough reconstructive microsurgery technology known as “Problem Solving for Amputation Crisis-Vascular Cable Flaps", which significantly reflects the reconstructive characteristics of tissue engineering. It’s a very challenging reconstructive microsurgery and it won the 17th National Innovation Award.
