Q1. How would a foreign national make an appointment at your hospital?

Foreign nationals can schedule an appointment through CMUH's International Center. Appointments can be made via phone, email, or the online appointment system. For assistance, please contact  +886-4-2225-6892. 


Q2. What sort of identity is qualified for a Hui Yao Outpatient Clinic Designated Consultation?

All Designated Consultations are to be paid at the patient’s own expense. The National Health Insurance (NHI) is not accepted.
Consultation fee: First 30 minutes is at least 1,560 NTD.
Note: This fee does not include prescriptions, laboratory tests, or other medical-related services. All charges are based on the International Medical Center’s service pricing.


Q3. How do I make an appointment for a Designated Consultation?

To schedule a Designated Consultation, please contact the International Center at imc@tool.caaumed.org.tw. The staff will guide you through the pre-registration process and verify your contact information. 


Q4. How do patients from the People's Republic of China apply for a medical visa?

Patients from the People's Republic of China should first obtain a formal medical appointment confirmation from CMUH. This confirmation can be used to apply for a medical visa through the appropriate visa authorities. For detailed assistance, please contact the International Center at imc@tool.caaumed.org.tw.


Q5. Does your hospital accept patients with private insurance?

Yes, CMUH accepts patients with private insurance. It is recommended to contact the International Center in advance to confirm whether your insurance is accepted.


Q6. What methods of payment does the Designated Consultation service accept?

CMUH accepts various payment methods, including cash (NTD), major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB), and bank wire transfers. For international patients, it is advisable to confirm the payment method in advance with the International Center.
