The tissues of the human body will gradually go slack and droop with age, and many wrinkles and droops will be produced after the relaxation of skin tissue, especially when the skin of the face is thinner, the wrinkles will appear earlier and more obviously. If you want to improve facial sagging, such as the flesh around the mouth, marionette lines, neck lines, forehead wrinkles, sagging eyebrows, etc., you can have a facelift.

Indications

1. Drooping eyebrows, upper eyelids and outer corners of the eyes.
2. Deep transverse lines on the forehead.
3. Wrinkles between the eyebrows.
4. Bags under the eyes and sagging lower eyelids.
5. The obvious lacrimal groove, crow's feet, and nasolabial folds.

Precautions before surgery

1. During the outpatient department, I have had good communication with the doctor to decide the operation. After discussing with the doctor to determine the date, it is advised to arrange at least 7-10 days' vacation to have sufficient rest after the operation.
2. Stop smoking 1 week before the operation and after the operation.
3. Please be sure to inform us of any drug allergies, anesthesia allergies, heart disease, high blood pressure, special diseases.
4. If you have taken any medication, please inform your physician for preoperative evaluation. For example, please stop taking anticoagulants 1 week earlier to reduce wound congestion and swelling. Please stop taking vitamin E, ginkgo, grape seeds and other healthy food 1 week in advance to reduce the chance of wound bleeding.
5. Arrange a preoperative examination (blood tests, EXG, CXR, etc) and consult with an anesthesiologist.
6. Facelift
   • If the operation is performed under local anesthesia, there is no need to fast on the day of the surgical procedure.
   • For general anesthesia, please fasting after midnight.
7. On the day of the operation, please take off all valuables, wear (accessories) no makeup, remove nail polish and check to the aesthetic surgery center counter report to the operation room of the Aesthetic Medical & Surgery Center.
8. Please wear clothes that fasten in the front (rather than clothes that are pulled over the head). Avoid driving by yourself and ask your family or friends to accompany you.

Precautions after surgery

Please return to the hospital as soon as possible if you have the following conditions (you can go to the emergency room for treatment during off hours)

1. A high fever does not subside.
2. The wound continues to bleed heavily.
3. Redness, swelling, heat, pain, discharge, etc. are found around the wound.
