Breast implants

Description

As one of the methods to assist with mammoplasty, are often used for appearance adjustment or breast surgery for the purpose of assisting in the recovery of breast appearance. Whether to use it or not is decided after full discussion with the doctor.

When to Use

• Appearance adjustment
• Breast surgery
• Breast reconstruction

Possible Side Effects

• Malposition or rupture of the breast implants by collision
• Implant failure cause by tissue or wound infection from the implant
• Numbness or abnormal sensation of heat and cold due to implants
• Pain or deformity resulting from bacterial capsule formation
• Different degrees of capsular formation which may require further treatment

Postoperative Care

• A cold packing should be given for swelling caused by the implant as instructed, and antibiotics should be administered regularly according to the doctor's instructions.
• An immediate return visit is required for any abnormal secretion, redness, swelling, heat or pain of the wound.
• Before discharge, the primary caregiver should know the steps of wound care. If you have any questions, please consult your doctor or nurse for relevant information.
