- Objective: Rebuild the lifestyle movement pattern, increase physical activity, and begin aerobic exercises
- Low-to-moderate intensity aerobic exercises, 30-60 minutes, 3-5 times a week; or 150 minutes a week.
- Aerobic exercises such as knee raises, speed walking, indoor/outdoor cycling (short distance), low-intensity aerobic dance (basic), swimming, water aerobics, others...
Precautions
- Discontinue or decrease activity if there is any discomfort from surgical wounds, dizziness, chest pain, low blood sugar.
- Slowly increase your exercise duration every week.
- Not recommended to start weight training or any high-intensity exercises.
- Low-to-moderate intensity should result to slight panting, some soreness and sweating.
