Admission applications in outpatients

Preoperative Examination

• General blood test (general biochemical, blood, coagulation function)
• Pulmonary function test
• Electrocardiographic examination
• X-ray examination

Preoperative Consultation

• Anesthesia consultation (including postoperative pain control)
• Consultation about Triflow II 3 ball breathing lung exercise at the pulmonary division

Triflow Training

• The attending physician will explain to all the family members (all family members are expected to be present) before the operation, such as operation mode, surgical risks, success rates, comorbidities, time of operation, and charged items.
• Sign a consent form.
• Whether to stay in the intensive care unit or return to the ward depends on the patient's condition after the operation, with an X-ray examination performed on the same day.
• An X-ray examination is performed. If there are no problems, the thoracic tube could be removed and observed. The patient could be discharged in the afternoon or the next day.
