The 585nm pulsed-dye laser (PDL), combined with 1064nm-wavelength Nd:YAG lasers, has a high affinity for heme, and is specifically targeted at treating vascular diseases. In combination with 1064nm-wavelength Nd:YAG lasers, it is used for deep blood vessels to achieve comprehensive treatment of vascular diseases and reduce the recurrence rate of blood vessels, stimulate the proliferation of collagen in dermis by laser photothermal effect, and achieve tissue reorganization and recovery of skin elasticity.
Indications
- Vascular diseases: hemangioma, rosacea, facial and leg telangiectasias, port-wine stains.
- Acne treatment: red acne scars.
- Red scars.

Contraindications
- Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, who are breast-feeding, and who are sensitive to light.
- Those on drugs that increase your sensitivity to sunlight.
- Those on an anticoagulant.
Treatment process
Before treatment
- Please inform your doctor if you are susceptible to keloid before treatment.
- Before and after treatment, please inform the doctor if you have arranged a trip abroad.
- Before treatment, do not get overexposure to the sun, do sunbathing.
- Please discontinue other chemical peels, exfoliation, SKII products and laser treatment one week before treatment.
During treatment
- Clean the treatment site, take photos and sign the consent form.
- Treatment time varies from 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment range.
- No anesthesia is required, as the machine produces a cold spray just before the laser pulse, diminishing the sensation of pain.
- Depending on your skin condition, your doctor will adjust an appropriate dose for you.
After treatment
- After treatment, the skin will receive a lot of heat energy for a short time. If it feels dry, please strengthen moisturizing and apply an ice compress for 15-20 minutes.
- After treatment, the skin will be slightly red, swollen and dark purple, which is a normal phenomenon. Scabs will fall off 5-10 days later.
- If there is a wound, please keep it clean and dry, and apply ointment according to the doctor's instructions to avoid scratching the skin and bacterial infection.
Postoperative daily care
- Prevent skin irritation: use a neutral, mild cleanser to clean the face within 1 week after treatment. Avoid using ovens, taking a sauna, going to a health spa, doing exfoliation and having a facial.
- Do not use irritant products, whitening or acid products 1 week after treatment, such as: alpha hydroxy acids, tretinoin, salicylic acid, kojic acid, high-concentration Vit C, alcohol, granular products, etc. (e.g. SKII skin care products should be temporarily stopped for 1 week).
- Moisturizing: after the skin receives a laser therapy, strengthening the moisturizing can make the skin play the maximum role in the repair. It is advised to use neutral and mild moisturizing products without perfume and preservative.
- Sun protection: Reducing UV damage can prevent collagen loss. Sunscreens with SPF 50 or above are recommended. If you have sweats, apply the cream every 2 to 3 hours and make more use of umbrellas and sun hats.
- If there is a wound, please keep it clean and dry. In case of blisters, do not burst them or break the skin to avoid bacterial infection. Please apply the ointment according to the doctor's advice. It is advised to return to the doctor for consultation.
Interval time and frequency
- Multiple therapy sessions are required (depending on individuals' condition) and the next treatment should be conducted 4-6 weeks later.
